Ferrari Fabrication builds all types of Product Prototypes.

We build looks like models, working models, study models, displays, and more.

We build them for commercials, product developers, still photography, toy companies, just to name a few. Our prototypes can be helpful in working out design problems or just to create the first real world 3-D product.

Toy Prototypes

Laser Challenge Laser Tag Gun Set

Laser Challenge laser tag gun set

These are the works like models we built. They had components that snapped on & off of the pistol.

A rotating multi position scope with a real red laser pointer, a barrel extension to transform the pistol into a rifle, with a fold out bi-pod, and extendable stock on the pistol.

These made it to production and were available in toy stores.

Sponge Bob Toy Prototype " DJ Square Pants"

Prototype toy had rotating turn table eyes and spring loaded push buttons.

The client provided artwork we built from.

This toy made it to production and this is the actual toy that was sold in stores.

Briefcase Blaster Toy Prototype

Briefcase Blaster Dart Gun. This is the works like model we built.

This toy starts as a briefcase that unfolds into a dart gun with a scope and a fold out shield.

This made it to production and was available in toy stores.

This was a Looks Like model for a remote controlled dart Gatling gun.

This was the initial art provided, some changes occurred during the development process.

Model Kit Prototypes

T2 Hunter Killer Model kit prototype in box

This was a model kit we made for a T2 Flying Hunter Killer.

In addition to providing the assembled painted model which is featured on the box cover above, We also made and supplied all the separate individual pieces for the kit which were sent to be used in the manufacturing process. This kit made it to production and was available in store.

RoboCop 3 Flightpack Model Kit

This was a model kit we made for RoboCop 3 with Flight pack.

In addition to providing the assembled painted model which is featured on the box cover above, We also made and supplied all the separate individual pieces for the kit which were sent to be used in the manufacturing process. This kit made it to production and was available in stores.

BattleTech Mad Cat Model Kit

This was a model kit we made for the BattleTech Mad Cat.

Oversize Firearm Component For Trade Show and Advertising

This is an Oversize Model we built for a very small existing product. Getting a good looking photograph of a very small part is a common problem, very small things usually just don't photograph well. The solution is to build an accurate oversize model.

The real part is 1.5" in length, the model we built is 4.5 " in length or 300% over size .

This provides a item that holds up well to close up photography.

Above is the actual part and the oversize model.

To the right is a close up of the actual part. It is

very small measuring only 1.5" in length. This makes

it difficult to get a good looking photograph of it.

This is where the oversize model comes in.
